This hair chalk is easy to use and we found the colors to be quite vibrant! So glad our favorite store always carries the coolest things!
A gift for my grandson.
Such a Cute and Fun Find!
I absolutely love the Peach Crunch Squishy from Birdie’s! It’s such a fun and unique little fidget, and the crunchy texture makes it even more satisfying to squish! These are the kinds of goodies my kids get so excited about, and I love finding fun surprises to add to their collections.
Birdie’s has some adorable finds, and I’m always happy to support a small business! Whether you're shopping for your kids, putting together gift bags, or just love collecting squishies, this is such a cute little treat. I’ll definitely be shopping with Birdie’s again!

The Magic Color Mango Crunch Squishy was such a fun find! 🥭💛 My kids absolutely loved the mango design and especially the color-changing effect—it makes it so much more interesting than an ordinary squishy. The crunchy texture inside is really satisfying too, and they’ve had so much fun playing with it.
I’m always looking for unique sensory and fidget toys that are a little different from what we already have, and this one definitely delivered. It’s cute, fun to squeeze, and something the kids actually keep going back to.
Birdie’s always seems to have the cutest and most unique finds, and this was another winner for us. Definitely recommend! 🫶🏻✨
We absolutely loved the Dirt Cup Parfait Crunchy Signature Dome Slime from Birdie’s! It was such a fun and unique find, and the presentation was adorable. My kids were so excited about all the little details and add-ins, and it made the whole experience even more fun than just opening a regular container of slime. 🩷
The quality was great, it was packaged beautifully, and you can tell a lot of thought goes into making these. It would also make such a cute birthday or holiday gift for a kid who loves slime and sensory toys.
We’ve been really happy with our purchase and will definitely be checking Birdie’s for more fun finds. Such a cute product and a big hit in our house! 🫶🏻
It is perfect for little hands and great for teething!
So cute!!
Birdie’s at the Barn is such a wonderful toy store! They have a curated an amazing selection of unique, fun, and thoughtfully chosen toys that you don’t always find online or at the bigger stores. Everything feels special and you can tell there’s a lot of care that goes into selecting what they carry.
I was especially excited to find the new Pokémon Tonies box! It’s such a fun addition to our collection and made for an awesome gift for my daughter. It’s always exciting to find something unique and new that you wouldn’t necessarily see at the big-box stores.
Definitely worth stopping by if you’re looking for a great toy, a unique gift, or just want to discover something new. We’ll definitely be back!
What started as a late-night online search for my kids somehow led me to one of my favorite small-business finds—Birdie’s at the Barn!
I’m all the way in Texas, and I had never shopped with them before finding them online. From my very first interaction, though, I understood why people love this shop. The kindness, communication, and personal attention have been absolutely outstanding. They went above and beyond to help me, and every interaction felt genuine and thoughtful.
I’m a huge supporter of small businesses, and experiences like this are exactly why. When someone takes the time to make an online customer several states away feel just as important as the person walking through their front door, you remember it.
And I have to mention the selection because I originally came for the kids…and then discovered all the things I wanted for myself! They have such a great mix of unique, fun, and beautiful finds. It’s the kind of shop where you go looking for one thing and suddenly realize you’ve found five more things you didn’t know you needed.
There are thousands of places to shop online, but exceptional customer service is what turns a first-time customer into a repeat customer. Birdie’s at the Barn did exactly that for me.
So from one small-business-loving mama in Texas: THANK YOU for being so wonderful to shop with. You’ve gained a customer from several states away who will absolutely be checking back for new arrivals and ordering again.
Some shops you simply purchase from. Others you’re genuinely excited to support. Birdie’s at the Barn is definitely the latter. Five stars all the way from Texas!
Great selection to shop from, and a quick and painless delivery!
Adorable sloth that my granddaughter is sure to love!
So much fun playing with my toddlers!
I love a good trip to Birdie’s. First off, the location really sets the tone of what’s to come with cute flags and some sidewalk toys. Then you walk in and you are immediately in kid land. From floor to ceiling it’s adorable toys, stuffies and other activities for children, teens, and adults alike. The other two rooms as you go more into the store are just as visually appealing. The staff are also incredibly helpful and will even offer to order something that they don’t have and will let you know when it comes in.
Highly recommend if you are in the Hartford or Wethersfield area , put a trip to Birdie’s on your list!
Hands down, Best Toy Sore around! Everything you would want in a small town store. Great staff and customer service. It's an experuence worth any drive!
My kids absolutely love this hilarious banana!
