I absolutely adore Birdies at the Barn. I discovered them while searching for truly special gifts for my nephews, and thanks to Jen and her incredible team, I have officially been crowned Fun Aunt of the Year. Every toy I’ve purchased from this shop has been thoughtful, high quality, and genuinely exciting for kids, the kind of gifts that get gasps and squeals when opened. What makes Birdies even more magical is how cared for you feel as a customer. Jen and everyone who works there treats each order with such personal attention that it truly feels like you’re being welcomed into a family rather than shopping at a retail store. Even though I live in Los Angeles and the store is in Connecticut, the shipping and gift wrap process was seamless, beautiful, and stress free. These silks have been dancing scarves, a cape, a blankie for stuffed animals, you name it. They are made from beautiful mulberry silk and are a truly open ended toy.
I bought this for my one year old granddaughter’s Christmas stocking. Can’t wait to see her open it!! She loves holding things in her hand, and this is just the right size!
