Birdie's is a modern, whimsical toy & more store in the heart of Old Wethersfield, Connecticut. We are located at the "Red Barn", a historic space that was once the town's first station! We specialize in heirloom-quality, unique, and artful gifts for children and the kid-at-heart. 

     Started in late 2023 by Jen La Bella & her family, Birdie's came about because we fell in love with the quaint town of Old Wethersfield. After moving to Connecticut, we quickly became enamored with it's charm and visited as frequently as we could. When we saw the Red Barn for the first time, we just knew it had to be a toy store!  

     The town has welcome us with open arms, and we are so grateful to be here. We already have an incredible community behind us, and it continues to grow every day.      While we are a local business here in CT, our online store and nationwide presence has begun to thrive! We love that our customers can enjoy "shopping small" from far away as well.      This store was started as a family, for our children, with our children. They really do test nearly every product, and even help pick out our merchandise! Birdie's is about childhood magic, for children of all ages, and even for adults keeping that spark alive. We love what we do, and we hope that you feel the love too.
